Configure Cloudflare for Dilingual

This guide will help you configuring the DNS settings for Dilingual.

Login to Cloudflare

Visit the Cloudflare administration panel by going to "". Login using the credentials that you have used when creating your Cloudflare account. If you don't remember your password anymore, use the "Forgot your password?" feature.

Choose the relevant domain

In the next step you will have to choose the relevant domain. If you have configured "" inside Dilingual, then this would be the right domain to choose.

Choose the DNS configuration section

You will then have to choose the DNS configuration section. On the top you will see a blue navigation bar in which you have to choose "DNS".

View your DNS configuration

The interface should now show you all configured DNS entries. Don't be confused if there are additional or different entries, as every website uses different services and subdomain the configuration can also look different.

Add your DNS entry

In above screenshot you can see an "Add record" button, now click this button and enter the following details:

  • Type: CNAME
  • Name: The domain shown inside Dilingual (e.g.
  • Target:
  • Make sure to uncheck the "Proxy status". The UI should show "DNS only".

The settings should look like this, make sure to adjust the "name" to your target subdomain.

Cloudflare final settings

Now press "Save" and the setup of Dilingual is completed. Your website should now be accessible and translated under your new subdomain.
