Ignoring translations
How to exclude a keyword
Dilingual provides the possibility to exclude keywords(words, expressions, brands etc) from translations in your website. To exclude keywords from being translated, follow the the following basic instructions.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Head over to Ignore translations
- Determine what are the keywords that you want to exclude from being translated. For example: Brand names.
- Type the keyword in the add ignored keyword input field.
- Click on Add.
The ignored keyword will then appear in a list below and will be ignored from all the translations.

How to exclude pages
Dilingual provides the possibility to exclude pages, URLs from translations in your website.
To exclude pages from being translated:
- Head over to Ignore translations
- Determine what are the pages that you want to exclude from being translated.
- Type the page in the add ignored page input field.
- Click on Add.
The ignored page will then appear in a list below. All the translations in that page will be ignored.

How to remove a keyword or a page from the ignored list
- Navigate to Settings.
- Head over to Ignore translations
- Determine what are the keywords or pages that you want to remove from the ignored list.
- If you want to remove a keyword from the ignored list, head over to the keyword and click on x. If you want to remove a page from the ignored list, head over to the page url in the list and click on x.
